……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….Did the title draw you in? I have discovered something quite interesting. What people do not know is that I can see who and how many times people read which blogs and which stories on the website. The blog  that contains the word “controversy” in it from a few months ago   has double the amount of views of any one else’s heart felt stories or any other blog with any kind of positive title. I find this pretty interesting. Although, as I think about it, not really. As a society we have been subjected to get a thrill and some sort of weird curiosity or bizarre pleasure (??) for all of the negative and chaos. We have become drawn to it. It draws us in and provides some sort of internal reason to get involved in the chaos. Then we wonder why we complain, and judge and criticize it when we are the ones perpetuating it. I feel like many people have become conditioned to chaos whether it be internally or externally, imposed or voluntary from exposure. Yet, we just look around like we have no clue why everyone is so stressed out, living in dysfunction, simply existing and not living and just judging and complaining. Am I being cynical? I really don’t think so. Although I’m sure many critics (hah) would say so. We thrive on chaos. Whether is be gossip, judgment, negative self-talk, dysfunction, seeking out things that bring us absolutely no joy, reading and listening to all the garbage in the media and ALLOWING it to affect how we think, perceive, feel, treat ourselves and ourselves. Open your eyes. When we say “WE”, that means you, and me and everyone else. NOTHING CHANGES IF NOTHING CHANGES. And you must BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD. No one is going to do it for you.

It is scientific fact, you can research for yourself as I’m not interested in citing currently, that children in their developmental years are profoundly shaped by their environment. In fact, the brain does not stop growing up until the mid-twenties. Everything that we are exposed to affects us on a CELLULAR level. Which, while can’t be measured, shapes the mind, and now we know alters DNA. Circling back, it is scientific fact that the more negativity or abuse that one is exposed to the GREATER the chances for disease. They don’t say, stress KILLS for no reason. That isn’t just something the medical community made up. And it starts in childhood. A child exposed to abuse and fear continuously, unless they seek long-term help will be shaped to be hyper-sensitive and hyper-vigilant, untrusting and unstable. These emotions again affect the body after so many years on a cellular level. The body Is NOT MEANT to remain in a constant state of fight or flight or survival mode, yet it becomes conditioned to after exposure to continuous pain, fear, instability, negativity, control, abuse, you name it. The prevalence of disease is growing at an exponential rate as we continue to sit in chaos and look around waiting for someone else to change it. It is said, especially in regard to autoimmune diseases that it is a combination of genetics, environment and triggers that sets the stage. Interesting that we know now that our ancestors experiences in life have imprinted on our genes could very well be a culprit for faulty and unstable genes ready to go rogue. Our environment, getting more negative by the moment, and trigger……………people just have no clue how they trigger others. Trauma. Working in a field of trauma I cannot express you to who many times I have heard people say “I’m 50 years old and for the first time in my life I am going to tell you this…….and it’s something horrific that happened to them.” What does internalizing trauma do to the body? Stress, trauma, internalization, denying, staying stuck, perpetuating the problem and thinking there is no solution in my opinion is making me people sick. Change your mind change your life. Change your mind, help change others’ lives. Seek to live, rather than to exist. Make your dash matter. Do not continue to harm yourself by seeking or being intrigued by chaos. Read and seek the positive. It’s there. When you find it, it’s a whole other world……..
